SSD instead of HDD possible in Beomaster 5 / Beosound 5?

    Good morning,

will it be possible to change the harddrive(s) inside the Beomaster 5 to a solid state drive with the same capacity?

This would be great as the unit would not make any noises (except  if there's a fan  for cooling inside) and - in theory - there's no component that can "crash".

Is windows on the harddrive or do they use a flashrom (e.g.) for the embedded system?

    Thanks

In theory you could, but at present, SS drives seem to be just as prone to failure as HD drives, are incredibly expensive and also only offer small capacities at present.
