    2 quick integration thoughts -A9 / beocoms

    hi all,

    just a quick thought i had...

    as a new A9 user and having an existing beocom 6000 network, i just love the ability of controlling my a/v with both devices, but...

    1.) wouldn't it be cool to have the top control of the A9 rotated for volume control?

    and on the same note...

    2.) wouldn't it be cool if when "a" or "v" is selected on the 6000 that the center button worked like the standby button to power on/off?

    it seems to me that both cases would be simple to implement and then you could pick up either device and accomplish the same thing.

    re: early this AM i walked in, hit audio on my A9 -great, but then i had to run and turn the volume down from the pre-set level to not wake the kiddies!

    Good idea! It would quadruple the cost but hey :)

    I think, all they need to do to make me happy is to start the last sources of each:

    I.e. AUDIO = Radio, CD or N.MUSIC

    VIDEO = DTV or if they HAVE TO TV

    Light = light

    I cant believe that its the 2nd edition and still starts TV!!!!

    Of course, all this could - and should - be programmable. The user interface for that would be funky with three buttons and no display available, but certainly doable Smile

    I was thinking much the same! Why does it turn on TV in this day and age!

    Another point, its great that the Beocom 6000 can turn down the volume on our equipment, but why doesn't it have the option to mute all equipment automatically when someone calls?!

    I don't always hear the phone!

    32" RF VCR Avant, 2 x 28" VCR Avant, DVD1, Beocom 6000, Beo5, A9 Keyring!
