    Mx7000 - Sat module

    Hi all

Mr Stupid here again - recently got hold of the above tv with a satellite module in it - details from stickerare

    RTT / ROSAT / D / 0109

obviously of German origin as other details are in German.

The pcb panel has the following DIN outlets labelled

    Mac Decrypt                         T C Output

    Video decoder                       Audio decoder

    Outdoor control                      Actuator control

    RF female socket 75ohm

Is this analogue or digital - any brochures/ manual available to direct me as to its use or is it not possible to use it?

When hooked up to the dish and a manual scan of channels, the screen does react (ie from snowy like to solid black/grey however sound is still white noise )

    HELP please!!

    salut

    Re: Mx7000 - Sat module

Back to the drawing board kids!

Can't get the tvin sat mode to work - when sat pressed >menu etc decoder on black screen set it scanning (betwwen approx 10800 and 11600) doesn't find anything - sat dish ok as works with a freesat box and also a sky box voltage output at rf socket on tv less than 1volt indicated at 15v is this the problem

suggestions greatfully rec'd or is the solution to ignore the module

Its likely to be an analogue sat receiver ... not sure if there are any remaining analogue broadcasts ... but you might be lucky.

There are some analogue broadcasts, but certainly not from the Astra/Sky Satellite, they are all digital. Not possible to pick these up with Beosat LM.

    Poor me, never win owt!

    Re: Mx7000 - Sat module

    Hi andy

thanks for that - in fact i have been stumbling around the website tonight and came across lots of stuff didn't know was there, hence, little contribution to the wed frolics!

In fact discovered the analogue nomenclature also - it might work on astra 1 in france they still use analoge but for how long c'est le question!

Back to the drawing board of working out how to contect the sat decoder to the set and how to call it up - us monkeys take a little time to catch on to new finger movements - however soon cracked the thumb sucking and nose picking ones!

    Salut a la sunny Worcestershire

    Re: Mx7000 - Sat module

Neil made the discovery last night ferreting around the beoworld site - may get it to work in France they still have analogue satellite transmission - they are a little slower than the uk in capitalizing on tv bandwidth sales!

mx now ok got hold of an early manual from peter which has now sorted most of the problem areas - so thanks for the offer of an ir piece i don't think its needed

    salut
