    Speakerlink 3 to 2

    Hi,

I have, eventually got around to using my Penta 1's. I have made the stupid mistake of using Powertlink 3 cables to the RCA converter cables.

Can I modify from Speakerlink 2 to 3? and if so, could someone please explain the connections in, " colour wire" terms! (I can use a soldering iron).

    All help graciously recieved.

    Thanks, Phil

I do not think that you can.  There are more wires within the Powerlink 2 than the 3 (see the technical section from where the following diagrams are taken).

    Type 2

    brownleft audio signal
    greenright audio signal
    shield: brown/greenleft/right ground
    greyon/off
    yellowon/off
    pinkAPHC
    whitedata
    shield: whitedata ground

    Type 3

PowerLink cable without wire for display data
