And, and? We need more feedback from users who've seen/used the product :)

Well it took me about 2 mins to get the hang of it. Very logical operation and the display is fantastic IMO. Looks very nice mounted on the wall bracket, not seen the floor stand as yet. From what I was told by my dealer the units that dealers have at the moment come pre loaded with the tracks. For some reason most albums have just one track in them. So you cannot get a full idea of how the menu shows you the tracks on each album. Had a quick look at the Beomaster 5 which was tucked, just to see what connections were on the back. All in all I was very impressed with it. Price was quoted at 3600

Re: Seen it in Milton Keynes

    hi there

well i must say it was very nice to look at mounted on the wall, the picks dont do it any justice,

the top wheel actually moves and you can move this as fast as you want and it moves the covers as fast.
the display is very ncie and clear, confusing when you have used a beomedia for so long, there was a favorites menu with red green blue and green in display.
i did not work out how to add items to the queue just change track as my dealer was busy with customers so i just played.
as said about most albums had 1 track in so was hard to really see how it will look and i was hoping for folder options but it seemed there was artist, album and covers.
i did not see beomaster, i must say that as sexy as it looks and feels the price tag is way to much for me considering what is out there.
buy the beosound five is very sexy and woudl look amazing on the wall in your home and woudl always attract attention, you can move the menu pointer to the very top or bottom and it put the cover in full screen mode.

Hope i have jumbled some info here for you

I'm sure it looks great on a wall. A televisions looks great mounted on a wall but who wants to have to walk over to the wall to change channel, adjust volume etc?

What is the point of introducing something which operates like a remote, but is of such a size that it has to be wall or stand mounted and connected by a cable?

There are many on this forum who are far more informed regarding B&O products than me (although I have owned them for more than 20 yrs) so their enthusiasm for the product may be justified, therefore perhaps I'm missing something here.

    Confused
