    Re: Sony Blu-Ray Player

We have the same player connected to a BV7 MKIII in the USA. I don't know if controls would be the same on a Beocenter 6, but here is what works for us.

list  v. aux  go...... to turn on, although today it is not turning it on for some reason today.

stop........pauses the player, also use this to turn off, have player set up so after a pause of a period of time, I think it is two hours, it is in the player settings, it turns off

arrows and go to navigate the disc menus

menu 1 brings up the system menu for the player

menu 2 brings up the video format  for the player

menu 3 brings up the audio format for the player

    menu 4 subtitles

red  brings up the pop or main disc menu

green  starts the dis over, although the on screen menu says it is top menu

    yellow slow forward

    blue slow  reverse

go and arrow up skips forward chapters, may hit arrow more than once after hitting go

go and arrow down to skip back a chapter, may hit arrow more than once after hitting go

go and arrow left to scan backwards, hitting arrow more than once increases speed

go and and arrow right to scan forward, hitting arrow more than once increases speed

go twice to stop scan forward or back.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Sony Blu-Ray Player

Glad to help. Regarding turning the player on, I think it only works when turning the TV on. In other words if watching TV and switching to Blu-Ray it will not turn on. Also, in order to get it to work I had to activate an HDMI control in the player's set-up menu.

Hi Razlaw just a quick question again which button if any do you press on the Beo 4 to open the dvd tray if any, or do you have to press the button on the sony remote.
