Beocenter 9300 with beolink 1000. The remote stopped working. After trying everything, taking apart, checking connections, changing batteries of course, no luck. Finally put the remote directly against the receiver on the 9300 and it worked. If I pull it away by an inch it won't work. The question is, is it the remote or the sensor on the 9300? I would buy another remote but hate to do that if it is a problem with the 9300 instead. Does anyone have any ideas for testing???

Try unplugging your 9300 for a while.  It's analogous to rebooting your computer - sometimes problems go away this way.  How far away are you from your nearest B&O dealer?  If you're close bring your 9300 to them to test with their remote.  I notice we're in the same time zone.  If you wish to pay for round trip shipping/insurance I'll send you a Beo4 remote you could test it with.  Drop me a PM if you wish to persue.

Well, mediabobny was kind enough to send me another remote to try. Same problem with his; It would not work unless I put it directly against the receiver. So I guess it's not the remote. Any Ideas that I might try for the receiver?
