that is an mcl2p -amp for controlling passives in an mcl link room w/ an mcl2a or av.

if you mean the speaker sockets? they are just that -the sockets for the passives you wish to use. they will accept typical (2) prong blade/pin male connectors or the (3) prong (i believe "speaker link") male connectors.

Thats correct, you take powerlink out of the audio system, into the MCL2P and regular speaker cable out to passive speakers. This enables you to use passive or non B&O speakers with the stereo.

    just a quick add...
it not only allowed the use of passives (as other kit did) but most importantly -it allowed independent control of volume, audio settings, etc... the others did not as i understand.

Re: What is the conector ?

    Hi everyone,

Just a general observation that I've not been able to find new Speakerlink connectors on sale for the last couple of years.  I've been happy to re-furbish Speakerlink cables for customers who have provided their existing plugs, but I've had to turn down numerous requests for these cables due to a lack of plugs.

Has anyone found a source for these plugs new?  If I can locate these, I have the original specification cable in stock and I would be happy to build these in any lengths required.

    Best regards,

    Steve.
