I've got the following and am looking for the best (neatest) way to interface it all.

The ability of the AV 7000 is my biggest question. ie. does it have an amp for the center speaker? can i loop the center speaker outs (if preamp) back to my tv and use that speaker.?? can i make the 4 BO speakers work as surround when i like, THEN change it to just 4 speaker stereo?? Sorry for all the questions...i really need some help here !!! THANKS AGAIN ...

     1) 2 beolab 8000 speakers

    2) 2 beolab penta I's speakers

    3) beosound 9000

    4) AV 7000 processor.

Yes, the AV7000 does use a small amplifier for the center channel. If you attenuated this you could hook it into your TV's audio in if present.

You can switch the speakers between 1,2,3,4 and 5 as you like.

You will need the speakerlink to powerlink adaptors for your Penta I's.

You will also need the BeoLink converter between the 9000 and the 7000.

    2) Yes, I already ordered the cables to convert the powerlink lines to speakerlink at the penta 1's....thanks again...

    3) What is the converter box?? any model numbers' etc....????  Where do i get one..and what is the function....I can't just plug powerlink from the 9000 into the 7000????

    Thanks a TON...keith

    This is the BeoLink Converter:

You need one because the AV7000 speaks one link-language (MCL) and the BeoSound 9000 speaks a newer one (ML).  Plugging in the PowerLink cable is not enough.
