    beo 610

I have BEO610, purchased from radio rally Sunday last, The power supply, a bolt on item, was faulty, it used the 60's semiconductor tech, the OC series transistors were faulty, the radio required -(minus) 9 and 12volts, i rebuilt psu with 79** series voltage regulators, i also had to replace all the electrolytic caps in the audio section,i am listening to it as i type, my question concerning the case, the case that is with this radio has imitation leather stuck to the left hand end cheek and a small piece over the front, this is not in keeping with B&O quality, any advice as to what should be there please. Thanks, Snowy

Hi and welcome to Beoworld !

The BEO 610 is a strange beast but it sounds like yours is pretty much original. It should look like this:

Thanks Martin, it looks very nice (and sounds the same),Shame that i cant get it original, i would need the small knobs on the front as well, the grub screws are seized solid,wd40 or 3 in 1 light oil soaking hasn't helped either.

    Regards,

    Snowy
