    Sky HD external copy

    Can I extract HD recordings from a Sky-HD box onto an external HD recording device ( Disc or hard drive ) . I've got the BBC HD Olympic ceremonies on there and would like to have a back-up copy as this machine is noisy and may have to change it . No mention in the Sky book about HD external copying , anyone know how to do this and recommend the cable and equipment needed ?

    Hello Movie . Thanks for the link and look interesting . My local B&o engineer suggested it may be possible to pull the HDMI lead out of the Tv/projector and connect it to a HD recorder , won't do this very often so doesn't have to be a permanent set-up .
