B & W picture when connecting non- B& O DVD player to my AV 9000

    Hi,

Connecting a panasonic DVD player (one i bought through beoworld actually about 4 years ago) via s-video to my AV 9000 but the picture is coming out black & white.

Is there anyway to fix this?

There is an S-video connection & 2 audio leads which im connecting to the video player part of the AV 9000.

There is no sound & its black & white

    Any help appreciated

    Regards, Sibtain

How did you connect the cables to the TV? Via a scart adapter?

It sounds like the usual composite/s-video problem...

Possibly change the picture format in DVD menu from PAL to NTSC. That said I don't like S Video. Is it an American player? If so I prefer to use composites. If it is European use scarts.
