Hi im new at BEOWORLD, Im from Brasil, i recently bought an Beosound 9000 and wanna connect it on a regular reciever (dont have beo speakers) , I bought a din rca cable and tried to conect on aux output but it doesnt work... can anybody help me???

The auxiliary port is input.  If the DIN cable you purchased is DIN to RCA, try connecting it to the "PowerLink1" or "PowerLink2" connecter and the RCA plugs to an analog pre-amp input on your receiver.

Assuming you have the right cable, if no speakers are connected to the BS9000 it will not send anything to the aux out on my MK3. I do not know why that is. However when I plugged a dummy earphone plug into the BS9000 the AUX out signal came.

I think any plug that fits will do, maybe just try plugging in a pair of headphones first.

I tried the powerlinks but the sound comes to low, i will try the headphone.... I heard that aux works both ways in and out Am I right????

 

 

yes it does, but you need a cable that has either 4 rca/cinch connections on the other end or that is specific for outbound.

 

If you just have 2 most likely  you are using an inbound cable .....
