This may sound like a weird question for the professional - though I wonder:

What's the screen resolution I see when feeding RGB into my non-HD BV 5? Reason for asking is that the picture appears so much better when fed e.g. from AppleTV (via component-RGB bridge) than SD television ... therefore I wonder whether the screen would make use of the full 852 x 480 pixels (the hardware is capable of) instead of the 768*576 Pixel PAL resolution.

Maybe someone can explain this to me!
