When I try to play a CD, it either does not turn and simply display "pause" or it turns a little after many times pressing OK and then stop. The CD is still not played. It happened before and was fixed and now the problem resurfaces. Can anyone help? Any advice please? 

This is normally a sign that the laser lens needs cleaning. In some cases it indicates failure of the cd mechanism.

Unless you are minded to clean the lens yourself then this is best left to a service tech.
