Re: Worst Bang & Olufsen product ever designed?

Beolab1:
Never realised what I would start with this topic. I'ts been going on for days now.

And in recognition of this I thought it might be a good idea to make a poll of it, it's been a while since we had one. I've listed the main contenders from the thread.

VOTE X25's!!Laughing

I don't know, maybe its just that I'm used to American politics...but the poll seems rigged somehow.

Actually the X35 is not quite as awful! It did at least get a dome tweeter. Not unlike the S30 in many ways which was a pleasant little speaker. The X25 I think however is not quite as bad as portrayed - it had no pretensions really.

Not sure what the gripe about the BM1600 is either! It was a splendid design if a little impractical and even boasted a glass display panel. The indirect coupled amplifier was a disappointment following the excellent BM1500 though and longevity was certainly not a strong suit!

Well, I can only speak for myself but I really hate the BM1600 design. It is the only Beomaster that I never felt like buying the instant I found it in a second hand shop.

Very honoured by the fact that this topic will become a poll!
