    Re: going to Denmark

From what i saw in the local Danish newspaper small-ads, i can definitely say there is a real abundance of B&O products for sale.

However, the prices weren't really any cheaper than anywhere else. Bang & Olufsen products are very similarly priced, both new and used the world over.

There may be some tax-free, or tax efficient ways to do it though from various countries, but i'm not too sure.

With the weak $ this is highly doubtfull. If you can shop in a no sales tax state that might do the trick.

Unfortunately, the weak dollar makes it about even unless you work out a great deal. Prices in DK include a 25% tax which you can get back if you ship it out of the country, but if you do have to ship it (hard to find a dealer that keeps US products stocked) and order the US version (added cost), it may offset the tax savings.

Where are you going? I'll be there in a few weeks.
