Beolab 2 with Beosound 9000 and Beolad 8000

    Hi there,

Could do with some help if possible please.

I have the above setup and i had to take all the wiring out to redecorate now i cannot get the 9000 to work in stereo. Im not sure if im connecting properly.

I have a double plug that i have plugged into it one speaker jack and i have 1 speaker and the Beolab 2, then i have the other speaker in the other speaker jack but this will only work if i have both switches on the Beolad 8000 on R and when i use the balance on the stereo i just get feed when its in the middle or on the right, when i switch one to L the speaker goes off!

Getting really frustrated at the moment so any help id really appreciate.

Re: Beolab 2 with Beosound 9000 and Beolad 8000

You should have a 1 cable running from the BS9000 to the BL2's input (the BL2 has 3 connectors - one is input and 2 are output), then run a cable from each of the BL2's outputs to each BL8000... or if you have a splitter cable, then run this from one of the BL2's outputs to each BL8000.

You want to have the BL8000s connected to the BL2 so the BL2 filters the low frequencies that it produces out of the path to the BL8000s.

The PowerLink cables carry both L and R signals.

At least this is how mine are setup...
