    BEO Center 7700 Repair?

    Bang & Olufsen dealer wants $672 to repair my BEO Center 7700 for a new computer chip.  Is it worth it?  Best price I've seen for this vintage system is $275...Help!

    Check with SoundSmith or another B&O service center; if you're in love with your very own BR7700, then the price is reasonable.  A secondhand BR7700 might have the same or worse issues and incur deeper cost to bring back up to snuff...
