Yep .... Yet another Penta 2 question

    Guy's,

    Just being paranoid................

The displays on the Penta's, do they only activate when the speeakerlink cables are fitted?

I've connected basic 2 pin din cables to check audio and they don't light up.

Will they only activate when connected to link cables - speaking of which, other than dealers, does anyone know where to pick up speaker link cable?

Is it just me ............ these things are amazing although the missus thinks otherwise ................ she says the're the worst thing she's seen...... something out of space 1999

Hope I can get the damn things working

You need either speaker link or Powerlink to use the displays.

You need either speaker link or Powerlink and a new missus.

Well, she was almost right - actually they are "out of space 1989" Big Smile

Must have been radical back then, but I have to admit that the Pentas look somewhat 90s today. Still, just the other day I gawked at them and the Beogram 6000 from a new angle, and if you imagine the copper stripe to be teak, they actually blend quite well...

Steve, I've seen the cables on eBay every now and then, but as they are strictly B&O, I don't imagine that many get sold without the speakers they attach to so it may be a long search. But it's worth asking the dealer, I believe they don't charge that much for just relatively simple cables.

    Hi Mika,

I'm pushing through the forties (actually 42) - I'm sat hear in my new room decked out in vintage B&O (MID 80's stuff) sipping a glass of red wine or 3, listening to mp4 80's Human League/David Bowie/Depeche Mode music and thinking......................................................... stuff what the the wife thinks.......... shes watching "come dancing" ahhhhhhhh

I'm sorry but I'm just wow'ed by the bloomin size of the beasts - there just stupidly brilliant

It's the wine I know but what the heck.

Will contact the dealer re the leads
