BeoVision 5 HD vs New BeoVision 7-40

What price do you consider is reasonable for a BeoVision 5 HD with a Panasonic D7/D8 720 panel? How does it compare to the new BeoVision 7-40 to be released later this year, hopefully August?

Your thoughts - without drawing on any of my previous posts please - this question relates to two different model TVs.

    Thanks, Simon.

The new BeoVision 7-40 hasn't been released yet, so we have no way of knowing....

Well, we have one at LifeStyle, but you're not setting up base camp in the shop! LaughingLaughingLaughing  (joking, you are always welcome)

I'm sure the all-new BV7 will be much better. LCD is a relatively young technology, and improvements will be quite marked i expect.

I think the price of the new BV7-40 will stay more or less the same; in Holland the BV9 is 800,- euros cheaper than the BV5!
