The service manuals are all available for silver and gold members. They are on the main site. however before you decide to join, maybe we can offer some free advice. The Penta is quite tricky to service and you may not find the service manual that helpful! What seems to be the problem? Are you skilled electronically?

had these from new purchased  1989 

a fault has appeared on one of the speakers the volume on the liquid display is not visible

its there but not lit up

any ideas what might need replaceing and where i can purchase

also i could do with some new (white)frets and foam for my 2 cx 50s

Just had a look at the service manual for the Pentas - which type are yours? I guess mk1. Having looked at the manual, I doubt it is easily repairable. Ridax does make some displays that fit and indeed give even more information.

They are not available new I am afraid.

The CX parts are though and not expensive - your dealer should be able to help.
