Connecting LX6000 via Audio/Aux to Beomaster 3300 Help!

Hi, I have connected my LX6000 to my Beomaster CD connection via 7pin data cable from the audio/aux link but not getting any sound from the Beomaster.

I have gone into the setup menus for the LX6000  but the aux/audio link is not listed?

    All suggestions and assistance welcome!

    Cheers

Have you tried [AV] on the remote?

On TV: [AV] [CD], [AV] [RADIO] etc.

    On BeoMaster: [AV] [TV]

    Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1

    Hi,

If you look into the sevice manuals from both the 6000 and the 3300, you will see that the datalink on the AUX from the LX6000 is on pin 6 and the datalink on the VTape and CD on the 3300 is on pin 7.

So, this won't communicate at all if you don't resolder one end of the cable. Just change one end from pin 7 to pin 6.

But the chance that it will work is, I think/assume, very small. The "language" from the 3300 is an early and different version then the latter one.
