    Yesteryear

Hi all, I am still searching for my Fathers' setup of Yesteryear... He had: Beomaster 3000, Begram 3000, & a pair of BnO WHITE, Floor mounted, speakers that had a protective grille over the top of them...??? They were as I say white, had feet & faced UPWARDS???? Any ideas fellow Yesteryear lovers.. If u do a pic & description would be great as my father can no longer remember...

So close now to replicating the magic that was growing up listening to mt dads LPs' on the BnO BUT.... ONLY when he said so (as we were not allowed to touch-Merely listen)....

Im a dad now too & already my girls are loving my BnO setup....

And so the wheel keeps turning

I have a suspicion that the speakers you mean are not B&O but are actually Sonab enclosures. These were floor mounting omni directional speakers and could be had in white! There is a teak pair on eBay though these are only one of the types available. Would be sold by many dealers who also sold B&O.

By the way, the ones for sale look like V1s, not OA 2212s. The latter are supposed to be superb. V1s are not!!

For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen..

Do you keep spare halves of old pipes in your pockets??

Every Wednesday a thread is started on the forum about a chosen topic - usually nothing to do with B&O at all...
