6000 hook-up

I have a pair of 6000 and need to hook them up to a pioneer elite VSX-91THX amp. I want to use the 6000 as rear speakers. I was told I could use an RCA cable - any insight would be great

I doubt you will be able to use the 6000's. They expect a volume controlled line level (ie 1volt) input which that receiver does not appear to provide.
