You can no longer get this fantastic remote new However they do crop up occasionally on eBay but usually fetch silly money.

I was after one of these remotes recently but Peter put me off getting one with some valid reasons which made me reconsider. At the time, I put an ad in the Wanted section of this site and someone replied saying they had quite a few to sell on. They buy and restore them. I can't remember the name of the user, it might have been Ridax but I am not sure. This was my thread http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/59049.aspx so if you put something similar I am sure the guy will contact you.

They are wonderful remotes when used in a two way system. In my view, the best remote ever made. In a one way system - i.e. all B&O since the Beosystems 4500, 7000 and 9500, the Beolink 7000 is no better than a difficult to use Beolink 1000 and very likely to have faults.

Mine now has new batteries and is once again telling me the time next to my bed!!
