sorry if this has been answered before but have tried searching to no avail...

i have an av9000 which is being used in a 2nd room as a link tv (obviously can't be set as a slave) and as such i have connected a beolink active to enable sound from the master, however what i'm having trouble doing is setting the relevant link/video option so that i can control the dvd & sat from the master - if i use for example 'L' option 4 or 6 then i can get the sat to come on but whenever i use the up or down arrows the tv is picking up the request and changing the tv channels, whereas if i use option 5, then i can't control anything other than audio - any help would be appreciated...
