    Connecting Beo5 to USB port

I have just installed the Beo5 SW, and connected the Beo5 to the USB port of my computer. But but there seems to be something wrong with the USB driver, as it will not install. The Beo5 is still an "unknown device" even after I installed the driver several times.

Has anybody had the same problem, and know how to solve it?

Yes, this is a common issue when it does not automatically install.

It is looking for a file called "Beo5Usb.inf" located in the following location:-

    C:\Program Files\Bang & Olufsen\Beo5 Configuration Tool\Beo5Driver

You will need to manually browse to it and you will have to tell it the location twice.

Not always, if it detects the Beo5 and says "New Hardware Found Beo5", then switching it off and on will not help. However if it finds it as an "Unknown" device then it will work.

YES! That did it. I just turned the beo5 off and put it into the stand - then the driver installed automatically.

    Thanks!
