Beolab 4000 - Beovision - Beomaster set up

I am thinking of buying a pair of Beolab 4000's to connect to either my MX 7000 or possibly my LX 6000 which is in the bedroom. If I run a signal in via the datalink - audio auxilliary socket from a Beomaster or other source to the tv, will the signal pass through to the Beolabs when the TV is in standby? Is it ok to run a Beomaster 3300 or 2000 without using the internal amps connected to passive speakers?

    Kind reagrds

That should work the way you want. Certainly I can listen to music on my LX6000 without the screen being on with the source being oin the main room. I use the internal speakers but Beolabs should be fine attached to the Powerlink sockets.
