is the beovision 8 white edition floor stand white or grey or black?

I am currently in the US and I can't know about this... could some one post some picture?

I've not seen it on the floor stand (which I think is the standard black stand?) but I wouldn't get this white version - the white BV8 in my B&O store looks a bit grubby, already. I can seriously see a kid leaving dirty finger marks on this TV or it looking grubby through dust over time. It's white rubber so think of a white pencil rubber and how this attracts dirt over time. Doesn't look as impressive as I thought it would, either.

Whilst I tend to agree with your general points about the white Beovision 8, its likely to go down the same route as the white Beosystem 6500, where everyone was very practical and did not purchase them for similar reasons to those you raised and so B&O stopped manufacturing them and they became rare, and subsequently a must have item for collectors.

I have a black BV8, but the white looks wonderful too - and I'm thinking of an excuse to get one. Doesn't look grubby at all, in my opinion. Have seen it on a black stand, and that looked interesting in an Escher kind of way. Silver I wouldn't get - try the black stand.

No, it doesn't look grubby when new and out of the box....but will do after a few weeks on show. It's white rubber. If you like it, get one. Don't let other people put you off.

I can imagine a white bv8 32" with silver speaker cover on a silver floor stand looking quite cool. But i´m too afraid of the white soft touch surface getting greyish or stains over time. It´s probably also quite difficult dusting the "rough" surface off. Only time will tell...Regards, beoberlin

Our latest TV is a black BV8 26" on the floor stand and think it looks great. I think the size of the 26" looks better than the 32" because the speaker stands out more and looks bigger. However, I think the white BV8 looks great and makes the 32" look better. The colour might not be practical, but I would quite like one. My dealer has told me the floor stand for the white BV8 is definitely brushed aluminium, to match with the grill on the speaker.

The white one looks great! I just wish they would stick the IR eye somewhere more discreet, as it stands out too much and sort of spoils the whole look.
