Beovision 3 in link room? Need help please.

    Hi,

I have just purchased a Beovision 3 to put in our bedroom which replaces our Beovision 1 LS.

I'm having trouble connecting it via Masterlink. We don't have an aerial at our house because we just use Sky. Anyway I cannot get the BV3 to link up via Masterlink.

I have set the Beo4 to option 6. But still no picture. I can listen to music from the BS9000 but I cannot get any pictures.

When I try and find the Link Frequency in Tuning it dosn't seem to be listed. I have a BV3 reference book but my tv menu seems to be different?

    Any help most welcome.

You have run a co-axial cable as well as the ML cable?

If you get a black screen!  you need to set your scart connection none.

What master TV do you have?

    Hello Peter,

Yes both ML and Coax are pluged in. These are the same wires that went to the BV1 so I know they work.

I think it is something to do with me not being able to get into the link frequency menu.

I have set all conections to none. The master tv is a Avant DVD.

Which BV3 is it? 28 or 32? Have you downloaded the Product Configuration Guide software? That will tell you how to tune the set in.

    Hi Peter,

    It is a 32"

When I go to the tuning menu as decribed in the reference book the link frequency menu is not there?

Delighted to hear it! The PCG is a great resource - unfortunately I cannot use it as it only works on Windows! Laughing
