Hi All,

Our Beogram 3300 CD player will only play 9 songs on a CD - you can't forward it past 9 to get to the 10th track (or 11th, etc) - it goes back to the first track. We found this last summer and it's worked great since then - but this has started to happen recently.

Any ideas? My husband is thinking it's some sort of setting since it only just started to happen. We have the entire 3300 system.

Probably the motor - The CD spins faster as the laser tracks inwards - constant velocity of the medium rather than the platter and the motor will be limiting the speed - at a guess. Needs a service!

Needs a good cleaning, and I have found that the motor could use clean and lube on the older CDM mechs.  Nothing major, but a tech needs to do it.
