Hi, I have too upgraded to BV7 mrkIII. With the new white/blue display I misses the oportunity to watch the clock-time on the panel when the TVset is turned on. you can acces "clock" on beo4 and it will show for only about10 sec. and then it disappears. On the mrk II the clock stayed on all the time. When you used be4 for soundadjustment it disappeared, but returned back again. In the set up menu I can`t find "show clock". This menu I misses very much from the mrk. II. Is there another way around for showing the clocktime on the sidepanel all the time? Trucker

White leds are new and they are supposed to be more beautiful and futuristic... I prefer red as the red dot has been there for a while and is part of the B&O image, and I like its "vintage" look. I'd like they use the same color for all their products... p.

My BeoVision 7-40 Mark III was upgraded too and arrived Tuesday this week. Since I have been using it I have got used to the white display and quite like it. It was a shock to se a change from the traditional red and as has been pointed out it looks different opposite my BeoSound 9000 but I think it works well. I think you can mix match with good results. I do agree that it would have been a good option for B&O to allow customers to change the colour to suit and they may include that in the future perhaps. Simon.

Don't you all miss the clock. I watch the clock all the time on my MKII (.. Not all the time, stares at the screen from time to tome also). However it is my main clock during TV sessions, and I would truly miss this functionality in the MKIII. The Dane
Maybe this is as good as it gets...

I thought the clock function still existed. I never used it but I am sure it came up on my display the other day when I was fiddling.

I don't think mine does that but I will check when I watch it again tonight and if it does I will update this post again to let you know. One thing that has started to happen on mine is that I am presented with a purple screen everytime I switch the TV on which I have to do by using V.AUX and Go because I am using Sky and it has to bypass the built in DVBT. I have to press Menu, Go, 1 to bring up the Sky menu and then select a channel to get the TV working. Anyone else have this problem? I hope the Beo 5 will find a way round this when I get it back from the dealer again. Simon.
