Hi, as I saw pictures of the Beo 5 in the old forum I'm nervous to get one :-) Can anyone of our experts comfirm if this remote is real? Will it be aible to control "older" equipment like Beosound 3000, Beosound 1 etc.? Thanks Thomas

There were masses of posts on the old forum relating to Beo5. Very mixed feelings about the design. Some members loving it, other hating it. I personaly, think it looks great and I am sure it was a real item that Toubro found on the media centre. B&O had slipped about five pictures of it onto the media centre either by mistake or in a clever attempt to guage our opinion (Knowing someone would find the pics). I'm sure after our visit to Struer, we will be able to confirm it's existance. Andy T.

Hi Thomas, It really exists. Available around September in France. The codes will be the same than Beo 4. In the future no remote will be included with the products: you will have to order separately the remote of your choice as an option. Regards

that is very b&o-like. the remote will become an option you will have to pay for, but the price of the product will stay the same.

Yes the Beo 5 is back lit, with its own docking station for charging while not in use I presume. B&O have hit us with an even more expensive remote now!

simonbring: Soo.. Do anyone of you know if it has got the "phono" button that the Beo 4 did not have..? I still use my set of beolink 1000/5000/7000 because no newer remotes has got the phono function..
Thought you could add it on the list of Beo4!?
