Hi, if i'm wanting to run a passive equalizer that has RCA plugs only.... on a BC 9500....I pull out the plastic plug...what adapter goes in to convert to RCA.?? Is that a simple DIN 4 plug converter for ins and outs??

THEN....do i need to press any buttons...or will that now equalize all the sound?  ie, is that plug the "loop" from the pre-amp section just before the amp??

The plug is indeed a simple straight though connector.

Unplug it and the circuit is interupted prior to the pre-amp.

The wiring to the plug is shown on page 2-16 of the service manual on site.
