How to preset the stand on a 94 Avant

    Hi:

I have just got my avant but no manual (will become a gold member when I have some cash). Can anyone tell me how to set it so that it turns to where I want it and returns flush to the wall when off instead of turning further right when off.

    Thanks

    Graham

MENU then SETUP with the Beo4 should get you to the stand setting option.

    Hi Graham,
Move the stand to where you want it when off, then store that as position '0'
The position you watch it in, should be stored as position '1'.
    Which remote do you use?

Yes, it sounds like a Beo4.
Try Menu, (twice if it brings up your set top box menu first),4,4 then use your side arrows to move the Avant to it's parked position. Then the up or down arrow til it says "0" on the top of the screen. Finally, press "Go". Now, every time you switch off, it will park in that position.
Do the same for a watching position and store that as "1" then every time you switch on, it will turn to that position.
Hope I've helped there, get back to us if you have problems.
