    Chassis change on BV7 MkII..

I'm having a chassis change on my BV7 MkII because of a sound problem.

Is there anything I should make sure is being done now the technichian is coming out anyway?

Will the SW be updated to the most recent version automatically with the chassis change?

Should I request any another updates?

Normally it is sent away for this to happen - I was without my TV for a month when my chassis was changed.

Yes, the SW will be updated. The sad thing is though, the panel won't be :(

No a chassis change is a on side job takes 1 - 2 H, you can't be sure it's the last SW but the same or newer.

The Stig is right, this is an onsite job. I'll try and snatch some photos.

So - do you recon I should request the SW to be updated then? The TV is about 1 yr old..

Yeah - shame the panel isn't changed... I can always hope the technician scr#w up and breaks it during the chassis changeDevil

If it's a 32" it would be better to get a HD KIT at the same time.

It's the 40" - so I'll ask for the latest SW and hopefully it'll be ready for the HDMI kit when that eventually comes out.

wow!!!... Is this the "official" B&O add-on??

Or is it a 3rd party "un-official" gadget?
