    Leopard and BM-Link compatability

Just brought a Mac-mini, with Tigar installed and Itunes 7.4.2. It comes with a Leopard OS upgrade. I dont what to upgrade and stop N-Music working. From other posts it appears there are some issues. Should i upgrade or not?

Wait a little while... or upgrade Leopard, but not iTunes and get a half working solution...

Email the guy on his web site. He did reply to me a while ago, and promised a solution soon if leopard was causing some problems. But that was before the release. I do not think anyone on this forum had some feedback since.

If you have a local IR eye you won't be able to control frontrow under 10.5 anymore.

Which is not too surprising considering that frontrow is completely rewritten in 10.5.

    Hi,

I have noticed that and I´m very sorry. Do You have any solutions to control FrontRow with my Beo4 before I buy Beo5 or try with some equipment from Lintronic to control FrontRow?

Beo5 will not solve the problem.

Leopard has been released only a few weeks ago, you should give a bit of time to the BM-Link developer to update the software.

Send an email to him, and/or contact B&O support.

    Re: Leopard and BM-Link compatability

    I have BM-Link 1.50.1, Beoport version 1.21, and itunes 7.4.2 under OS 10.5.1.

The color keys work but the >> and << keys don't.  The up and down keys do.  The number pad does sometimes.  As in, it doesn't seem to do anything in N.Music but it will change the channel in N.Radio.

And THAT'S how you report a problem to tech support!
