From online stores to my SD card

    Hello,

I have been reading a number of posts and am getting confused.

I bought my BS4 with a view to downlaod music and put it on my cd card, to then be played on my BS4.

I did today for the first time, but the music I downloaded is "protected" and therefore cannot be read on my BS4. However I also read posts where people copy their MP3 music files onto the CD card and it works, so Im thinking, why not WMA from download onto CD card? Am I missing something? Am I doing something wrong?

I use WMP 11 and have a 2Gb SD card. I know my folder structure is right as I have copied music onto the card from CDs.

    thanks for your help

    Chris

From which online service did you buy/download your music??

I downloaded it from HMV digital online. It is now sitting on my hard drive. When I go to the properties of the music files, it does say that the content is protected. So I can play it from the WMP, but not on my SD card on my BS4.

     Thanks for your help

How are you transferring the music to your SD Card and is the card formatted?

All players that support Windows Media DRM9 should be compatible with downloads from www.HMVDigital.com
