    2 switches of mx7000

    a friend of mine bought his second b&o --- a mx7000 but the 2 pastic front switches is missing . is there any way to buy two for him ?  i think this 2 switches will be the best birthday present for him .
    moreover , he said the remote included is not beo4 and the set up interface is not as same as his mx4000 . is there an software upgrade avalable to upgrade the mx7000 ?

    Have you tried getting the Switches from you Dealer. Would have though they are still available
     given the production dates of the MX7000. They were made up until 2002. B&O keep spares for 10 years after a product has finished.


    Not sure about your remote problem. What remote does the TV have? Is it a BL1000 or one of the non B&O remotes you can get?

    Early MX7000's used Beolink 1000 remote and later model had their software updated to use Beo4. Details of type numbers etc.should be on the product spec pages of this forum.

    I have owned both models and the BL1000 one actually said so on the type number label on the rear of the set.
