    the first time i came to the new forum, i immediately noticed the RSS available button at the end of the page. i saw what it does the the forum sites, but as i really am not an expert concerning computers, i don't know what it is good for? i am sure someone here can explain.

    It's basically a way of reading the threads and posts on the forum without the Forum's 'skin' or design.

    For example, you can get a screensaver to read the RSS feed, and display it's contents. OS X has one built in...
