Sad [:(] BeoPort 4.65 installation fails on Windows Vista

    Hi,

I am moving my BeoPort box to my new Windows Vista computer. I have downloaded the new BeoPort 4.65 version from the official website.

It runs fine until after "installing components..." there it says "Error occurred during USB driver setup. Aborting installation."

I also tried to run the setup.exe as administrator (by right-clicking it), but the same error occurs.

    What am I doing wrong?

    /MikaelB

Re: BeoPort 4.65 installation fails on Windows Vista

I take it the device is not yet connected - its normal practise to install software before connecting the usb device.

Although after a little looking around it seems Beoport 4.65 may not be fully Vista compatible - some seem to have it working but most don't, although there is mention of an upcoming Vista compatible release

Yes you are correct - I have not yet plugged the USB cable into the computer.
