    Service Manuals

Just put the service manual for the Beolab 3000/4500/5000 on site. I have been adding slowly to the manual pile. The user manuals for the MX2000 in English and the Beomaster 4400 are also now on. Working my way up to the MX1500 service manual! Laughing

    Re: Service Manuals

That's great Peter, i've been looking forward to that one.

I recently found a wiring diagram of the Beomaster 3000-2 (type 2402),
it was carefully hidden inside the Beomaster.

Do you think it could be of use for the database ?

There are some basic schematics on site already - but rather poorly scanned. I am sure anything is a boost!

I do have some older [products manuals which are not scanned yet. If there are ones that anyone is desperate for, always ask. I can sometimes help!

    Hi Peter!!

I could really do with a look at a service manual for a CD50-I noticed on one of your posts you have your own website,is this the place to find it??Any help would be great, the symptoms are cd drawer wont open/close(narrowed this down to a very slack/stretched belt) and the cd isntspinning/being registered by the player.

Thanks for taking the time to read this so far!!

    Re: Service Manuals

The manuals are all on site but you need to be a silver member to access them. Your problem would seem to be needing a new belt. That may be the only problem but it could also be that the motor needs servicing. If you ask on the Workbench, you may well get some more technical help. The laser is very robust and should be fine. The service manual is not necessarily that helpful as the CD50 changed many times!

    Peter,

I used to have a service doc from a MX7000. But can't find it anymore.

Do you have the service manual of the MX7000 in pdf?

I know that there were several releases, like the 3393, 7800, 8700 etc.

Ik know that some parts from the 7000 are the same as with the AV9000, like the power supply.

    Best regards,

    Beobuddy.

Sorry - don't have that one - or indeed that many TVs of the newer era.

Well done Peter, your scanner must be in melt down by now! I don't personally use them that much but I know they're

there if I do and your efforts are appreciated.

Just out of interest how long does it take from start to finish to get an average sized service manual onto the site?

Very variable as they differ in size so much. I tend to scan colour diagrams in colour so they are more legible so that takes longer. I think the BM2200 took about an hour. I also have to pull the manual apart so that it can be flat on the scanner. I do tend to do something else at the same time though!

    Re: Service Manuals

    Peter, Gerd or anyone,

I bought a used MX 7000 today and it doesn't show any sign of life. No red light, no sound, nothing. Is there a main fuse or some "reset button" I can check before taking it apart? Is there a service manual available so that I can make a basic check?

     Very grateful for assistance,

    Lennart in Stockholm

    Re: Service Manuals

I have very few TV manuals I am afraid and no new ones. B&O in their wisdom started introducing manuals where only module replacements were noted and the full circuit diagrams were not shown. Having said that, there is a circuit diagram on site for the MX7000 - though it appears limited and may not be very helpful. There does appear to be a fuse at the power supply but the question will be, why did it blow if it did!
