BeoLink active and video distribution from a BV7

Anyone knows if a BeoLink Active will activate the RF videodistribution fra a BV7 if you choose a video source connected to the video master. If I for intance select DVD in a link room with BeoLink Active and connect a non-B&O TV to the RF-out on my BV7, will the TV show the picture part of the DVD?

    Regards,
    Ken

    Yes and No....

By default it will not, but you can go to the BV7 hidden system menu and activate the RF-Out and it will be always on and work like you want.

How about the Avant? Is there a similar setting?

Yes on AVANT you set marker on link freq. and press MENU

    On BV7 I think it's << +<< + go or one of the colors can't remember Smile

    Hi all,

From the reply from P. I expected the setting to be in the servive menu, but I can't find it. From last reply it seams to be a hidden function assotiated with the Link Freq. setting. Anyone knows the exact command?. BTW my TV is a 7-40 Mk I.

    It worked. Thanks.

Any disadvantages of setting the RF-out to allways on?

No it's not acutely always on, but can be turned on be a audio source also instead of only from a Video source Smile
