    Loudspeaker Switch

Now i've looked this up on this site, the other site and in the ML books....can't find any data on this....though this may really help someone here..

I'ts a Louspeaker switch...ie'...input your PL and your high output MCL....and it takes it to 8 sets of speakers....

I have to say I have never seen or heard of this B&O product. Based on the pictures it appears to be in the Beolab 4500/5000 time frame. This may be an interesting product to purchase for someone who may then wish to copy the manual for Beoworld

    Regards Keith....

Believe that's a dealer item -- designed for showrooms, where you want to be able to demo many sets of speakers from one source. It's essentially an audio router, with built-in equalization for the different signal levels of PL and SL.

Could be very interesting in a home setup.

It looks as if Andy is already bidding on this item or at least someone with a name very similar to his Beoworld name. It is jandytclocks

    Regards Keith....

I think Peter (PL212) is correct about this item being for dealers because the seller in Holland is selling 3 other items which are clearly dealer item such as a large flag with a Beo4 on it.

    Re: Loudspeaker Switch

    Yup, it's me.
Don't suppose I'll go very high for it, and certainly don't want to compete with any Beoworlder.
This would be handy for me when (if) I get all these Beomasters going. I already have 4 sets of Beovoxes and two sets of Beolabs and eight Beomasters.
Would be interesting to be able to switch to different speakers in an instant , to do comparisons.
BTW I'm called jandytclocks because they wouldn't let me call myself jandyt! My old hobby used to be repairing old clocks.

    It will be mate!
Just as soon as I've worked out how to get it to Peter.

Strangely, I've just had a message from the losing bidder, in Spanish.

    Hola:

    Muy mal eh!!!!!

Ahora como conecto yo los altavoces Bang&Olufsen?

I think it means "My bad eh!!!! Now connect my B&O speakers"
Do you think he's being pleasant, or rude?

    H jandyt....

That's a correct translation basically...it's..."very bad eh"  .... "parlantes" is the correct word though..for speaker....in itself it's not a slam...but since he lost the auction....it may be.....
