Well, the BeoGram 9500 would be a logical starting point Stick out tongue, but you're going to struggle to find one!! You'd be best with one of the slanted decks - they'll look better alongside your 'Center.

Remember, the BeoCenter 9500 has an inbuilt RIAA pre-amplifier, so you'll need to avoid BeoGram 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000, which already have the RIAA inbuilt to the deck.

Has the BC9000 got an RIAA as well?

Yes, it has! The's a BeoGram 9000, but it's square shaped, like the 5005 / 5500. Goodness knows why they didn't match it with it's intended system!

Never could understand why the BG9000 & 9500 were not very good matches in shape to the Beocenter 9000 & 9500. If someone does know the answer to this, I would be very interested to hear why.

The 9500 does have the sloping lid Craig, it's just the 9000 which is Volvo shaped (boxyStick out tongue) goodness knows why thoughConfused

you could also use a beogram 2000 - this is what i am doing with my beocenter 8500.

It will be much easier to find and cheaper to buy as it is not a tangential deck. It doesn't have the "slant" lid but i don't find that this is much of a problem since i don't place it up against my beocenter anyway.

also it is fully datalinked so you can control it via your beolink remote.

Well you learn something new every day.Embarrassed I always though they were both the same shape. All that was different was the finsh of the metal panel on the top.
