Beosystem 3 - Audio standards supported

    Hi,

I'm within a swipe of a credit card of purchasing a BS3 however i have a few concerns.

Can anyone tell me if the BS3 will support the new HD standards (DTS-HD etc)?? I believe it currently does not, however is this something that can be supported through a firmware upgrade??

I'm also slightly concerned about connecting my other devices. I have a 46" Sony LCD, Sony Blu-Ray Player, Sky HD, Mac-Mini and XBOX. Has anyone connected any of these devices to a BS3 and if so, successfully??

    Appreciate your help.

Yes, upgrades like these can and have been achieved by software/firmware upgrades. That is the advantage of the all digital platform of the BS3. As for those devices. I've hooked up all but the Sky HD (I'm in the US), and all of them work stunningly. Just remember to "unpair" the mac remote from the Mac-Mini as mac products will only recognize one remote signal.

Thanks for your reply, i think that covers my main concern of support for the new HD standards.

Do you know when these standards are going to be available for upgrade on the BS3??
