    What is this circuit?

    Hello

I found this circuit inside a Beocenter 7002:

Some time ago on ebay there were from Belgium another Beocenter with "auxiliary audio input kit mounted", could be this another example?

I cannot test it now because there are some rust problem...

     ciao ciao

    Eugenio,

Seems to be in the tuner section.
Can you provide more info ?
What type of IC is on the board, is it a 4066 ?
    Serial number on Beocenter ?

    Hello

The Beocenter is a 7002 series, the external serial number is gone, the internal is 349067 .

The IC is a CD4066BCN, the add circuit is connected on the IC1 of the original module at pins 4 & 14, other cable are connected on the original board to take power and other two are connected inside the processor cable (purple and brown).

The add circuit seem to be not hand made...

    Regards

    ciao ciao

It looks like an additional expander for two stereo input signals to one output. The 4066 ist a electronic switch 4x ON... it would fit with 4 cpacitors and one transistor for inverting the switchsignal.

    Maybe something like Tape1+ Tape2 => Tape

    Re: What is this circuit?

I agree with the other Martin on this though I haven't seen this before.
At some point, the Beocenters in this series were changed to support
an AUX socket instead of a TAPE IN, enabling recording on an external
    tapedeck.
Previously, the TAPE IN was merely an input for playback.
In reality, I think, this was merely an internal connection from LINE OUT to the "old" TAPE IN socket.
I don't have much info on this and am not sure that this is what you have.

The Tape 1/Tape 2 suggestion sounds more like it since it has direct links to the processor that would not be needed for signal handling only.

Thanks to all Martin Big Smile

As soon as is possible I'll write the electrical schema, but first I have to remove the glue used to lock the circuit on the capacitors [:'(]

I'll be very glad to offer the schema to the Beoworld community  Gift

Thanks a lot again ( Grazie molto di nuovo )
