Beovision L2800 - wiring to aux port on BC 2

    Dear forum

I'm the owner of a BV L2800 and would like to connect this to the AUX IN on my BC2 in order to be able to use the speakers connected to the BC2 instead of the build-in speakers of the BV.

I'm a bit confused about the wiring: The BV has an AUX port - round with 8 pins. I have searched Beotech but cannot find this type of plug except in Powerlink, but my TV is probably way to old for this to be true. So my question is if any of you knows which pins on the AUX port on the BV, I should connect to the BC2 AUX IN?

     Regards,

     Moller

Get a converter between aux on TV and Master link on stereo.

I have this between my LX 5500 and BS 9000.Works perfect. Just make sure you have the right options on them.

    Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1

    Thanks, Daniel.

For me it's sort of a temporary solution since I plan to buy a BV 7 next year. I was therefore only looking for a simple way to extract the audio line out signal from the L 2800, e.g. which pins I should connect to left and right channel on the aux in port on the BC 2.

Do you happen to know this?

    Best regards,

    Moller

The output pins on the Line socket of the BV2800 are Pin 3=Left out,Pin 5=Right out,and pin 2 is ground

You should be able to use a standard 5 pin din cable to connect to aux in on the BC2.The data is carried via pin 6,but as there will be no communication between the products, this won't matter. You will need to select aux mode manually on the BC2

    Regards,

    Nick
