When I looked up the type I noticed that the plate actually said MX7000 Imp. Teletext. :)

    But thanks anyway

The MX7000 is one of my favourites,
i actually placed one in the office of my father today
and connected a Beomaster 3300 to it.
The active speakers of the MX are used for background music
from the radio while the display shows teletext.

We were surprised how easy it was to set up,
just 1 cable between the Beomaster3300 and the MX .

I totally agree with you. As I have my tv in a corner I don't see any benefit of a LCD.

As you might have read in another thread (http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/thread/53274.aspx), I'm trying something similar to your father's setup. Connecting a Beomaster 6500 to the MX. In my case there is two converters involved in addition to the cable so it's a bit more complicated. Hopefully the end result will be as elegant as yours.

Indeed it is a similar and also very different setup !

    As for your setup,

have you used an AUX-splitter yet ?

Basically AUX between BM6500 and MX, the other AUX goes to the Beolink-converter.
(keeping MCL between the BM and MX and then convert to ML)
